IT STARTS WITH ME:
Shifting the Culture through Nonviolent Action

As our nation, and communities, become increasingly divided by hateful rhetoric and the persistent threats of war, poverty, and racism, it's imperative that we seek new paths to peace and justice. Inspired by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy of nonviolent resistance, we invite you to explore how individual actions can ripple into profound societal change.

By embracing the Rev. Dr. King's principles of nonviolence—love, justice, and peace—we can dismantle systems of oppression and build a more equitable future. This approach impels us to:

  • Examine our own biases and prejudices to cultivate empathy and understanding.

  • Engage in peaceful protests, boycotts, and civil disobedience to challenge injustice.

  • Build coalitions and mobilize communities to address root causes of social problems.

  • Seek common ground and foster dialogue with those who hold differing views.

Join us in this journey towards a more just and peaceful world. Together, we can be the change we wish to see.
