35TH ANNUAL CELEBRATION

REFLECTIONS ON ACCOUNTABILITY

Watch the video of our 35th annual service honoring the life and legacy of The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther, King, Jr. This presentation originally aired on Monday, January 17, 2022.

Featured speakers include The Rev. Cheryl Harris, clergy and municipal leaders from the Greater Attleboro community, and musical performances by vocalist Christopher Gillard and the Brockton High School Concert Choir.

Many of us watched the trial and conviction of former police officer Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd, and shared a renewed national commitment of leaders and citizens to engage in the work of dismantling systemic racism. Thus, our theme for this year's King Holiday service focuses on accountability and its connection to justice.
